Helen

Guy and Helen are: interluding

After a hearty round of applause, the audience tottered off to the bar to unravel Act One and eat a tub of ice cream.

To our dearest readers, please also feel free to pour yourself a glass of wine, eat some ice cream and make your way back from the bar to join us for Act Two. We’re sorry we’ve been away from the blog for a while but it’s nice to have you back.

Liketytrip will be back on in full swing from now on (and we promise to fill in all our missing stories at some point… these include ‘An engagement’, ‘A wedding’ and ‘Guy learns to drink wine!’).

You can also breathe a huge sigh of relief as we now know that Liketytrip will be continuing for ad infinitum come October when we move to Dusseldorf, the land of lederhosen and schnitzels. God bless the Credit Crunch.

In the meantime, here’s the picture book version of our missing trip:

Uluru (AKA Ayres Rock)
Six degrees of separation in The Nullabor treeless plain
Striking Gold at Kalgoorlie
Taking a pose at Wave Rock
Reminding ourselves that Denmark might not be in the northern hemisphere
Tasting the wines of Margaret River
Helen checks into Perth jail while Guy takes a 5-day round trip for an interview in Dusseldorf to secure the future of Liketytrip
Visiting the monks of New Norcia
The pointy Pinnacles
Paddling with dolphins at Monkey Mia
Being ‘ored’ at the largest iron ore mine at BHP Billiton Mine
Broome. Ahhh… that’s where we got engaged :)
Getting the Bungle Bungles
Followed closely by the sparkly Kakadu National Park
Sailing around Sydney
